How to wear ear cuffs/cuff earrings

Ear cuffs/cuff earrings are jewelry meant for the ear cartilage for those without pierced cartilages. There are several ways to wear them. Ear cuffs wraps around the ear with No piercing required and should fit snugly into the ear canal. Here is a picture I got online showing how it should be worn. Basically, you start on the top rim of ear, turn the ear cuff inward to hook onto the inner rim and then slide it down. Ear cuffs can be adjusted to your size by stretching them out a bit and if worn correctly, you wouldn't need to stretch them at all afterwards once you get this mechanism down.

And here is another picture of the different parts of the ear. This gives terms to different piercings or parts of the ear.

Mine are wired wrapped though. I like them better because it's not too solid hard. It's gentle and easily adjustable but sturdy enough to prevent from distorting it. Here is a picture of my handmade plain ear cuff.

This was actually the first ear cuff I made and I was pretty proud of myself. I have gotten a lot better at making these and it looks just slightly different. It now looks more like this and not as tight. They can be purchased here

I do have solid ear cuffs for those interested. Here is a picture of the ones I carry (also available in gold). I have to say that these are a bit tighter than the ones I make so they are better on the rim/helix part of the ear than the wire wrapped ones. They can be purchased here

As for the cuff earrings, I like it simple and plain. This is the one I wear most often.

(The flower earring is a stud that can be purchased here. I have two piercings on each ear lobe and this picture was taken before I got my cartilage pierced.)
The chain length of this cuff earring is 3cm. I love this length but my average chain length for cuff earrings orders is 4-5cm. Other lengths can be requested free of charge up to +3cm. This is not the only way to wear ear cuffs. I like wearing it around the snug part of my ear. Here is a picture of another way to wear ear cuffs. This is around the helix or rim part of the ear.

I prefer not to wear ear cuffs that high up because it doesn't feel as secure and can feel loose but it is possible to wear it there especially with these solid band ear cuffs. For those that want to wear cuff earrings on the upper cartilage will have to request a longer chain length so don't forget to leave a note for me when placing an order. You could also request to switch any wire wrapped ear cuff with these solid band ear cuffs through here.
